



Field(s) of expertise: Derrick Jefferson is the Coordinator for the Film Department and Graduate Broadcast Cinema program where he researches equipment and technology, works with prospective students, and operates as a liaison between other departments on campus. He studied creative writing and literature as an undergraduate before earning his MFA in Film from Art Center. A writer who has contributed to Anthem Magazine and Fishwrap, he also maintains his very own website. He has a thing for fish tacos, Toni Morrison, tattoos, music, vintage sneakers, comic books, art, and western shirts, but not necessarily in that order.
