
Two-time Academy Award winner Janusz Kaminski joined director and Art Center faculty David Kellogg for our Distinguished Filmmakers Series in November. His latest works include:
Funny People, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. The renowned cinematographer has also signed on to work on Steven Spielberg's next film,
Interstellar.

Caleb Deschanel spoke at Art Center. His work highlights include
The Passion of the Christ, The Patriot, Fly Away Home, The Natural, and
The Right Stuff. In February, Deschanel was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Society of Cinematographers.

Allen Daviau, ASC is hosting a 35mm screening of the Universal Pictures film
The Wolfman for his Cinematography 5 Seminar on Thursday, February 18th at 1PM. There will be a Q&A with the film's Director of Photography and Art Center Film alumnus, Shelly Johnson, ASC.
Cinematographer and award-winning painter Shelly Johnson, ASC has shot over fifty feature and television projects, including
Tales from the Crypt,
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II,
Jurassic Park III,
The Last Castle,
Hidalgo,
Sky High,
The House Bunny and many others.
The Wolfman, a "reimagining" of the 1941 horror classic, is directed by Joe Johnston, written by Andrew Kevin Walker and David Self, and boasts an all-star cast including Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, and Emily Blunt.
This event is open to the entire Art Center community, as space allows.
