
Film instructor Dan Perri will be hosting one of Hollywood's finest directors, Walter Hill. Southern California native Hill has built an unusually impressive body of work, winning multiple Emmy and DGA Awards along the way. His seminal, genre-defining and eminently entertaining films share the common elements of robust storytelling, vivid characters and a lean, powerful, highly-assured directing style.

Directing instructor Stephanie Nash hosted multi-award winning film and television editor, Paul Rubell. Rubell has received 12 award nominations, including two Oscar nominations for "The Insider" and "Collateral". Rubell has put his stamp on some of the most cinematically-challenging works in film and television, including the visually complex works of Art Center alumni directors Tarsem ("The Cell") and Michael Bay ("Transformers" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"). His other work includes "The Jacksons: An American Dream", "Blade", "My Name is Bill W." (Associate Producer), "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", "xXx", "Miami Vice" and "Hancock".
He recently continued his prolific relationship with Michael Mann on "Public Enemies", starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.

Film Department Director instructor David Kellogg is hosting a Q&A with one of Hollywood's most accomplished cinematographers, John Schwartzman, ASC. Schwartzman was the Directory of Photography for such notable films as "Seabiscuit", "Pearl Harbor", "Meet the Fockers", "National Treasure 2", "Night at the Museum 2", "The Bucket List", "The Rookie", "Ed TV", "The Conspiracy Theory" and "Armageddon". He is currently prepping "The Green Hornet" with Director Michel Gondry. In 2004, John was nominated for an Academy Award for "Seabiscuit".

Academy Award winning Producer/Director Taylor Hackford is one of Hollywood's most versatile A-list filmmakers. His many hit films include: "The Idolmaker", "An Officer and a Gentleman", "Against All Odds", "White Nights", "Dolores Claiborne", "The Devil's Advocate", "Proof of Life" and "Ray".
Hackford's documentary work includes "When We Were Kings"; his TV work includes directing the plot for and executive producing "The E Ring". His upcoming film, "Love Ranch", stars his wife Helen Mirren.

Visionary director and Art Center alumnus Zach Snyder and Warner Bros. Pictures have made special arrangements with Art Center's Undergraduate Film and Graduate Broadcast Cinema Departments to offer an advance screening of the highly anticipated film "Watchmen" at Pacific Paseo Theater in Pasadena.
Based on the most celebrated graphic novel of all time, "Watchmen" is a mystery adventure set in an alternate 1985 America in which a ragtag grop of superheroes uncovers a disturbing conspiracy.
The screening is open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni and special guests. Following the screening, Zack and fellow alumnus Larry Fong (Director of Photography) will participate in a Q&A with Bob Peterson, Chair of Graduate Broadcast Cinema and Ross LaManna, Chair of Undergraduate Film.
