Film Department Is Hosting a New FEP

The Film Department is hosting a new FEP this term, underwritten by one of the world’s largest media storage companies, SanDisk. This is a 3-unit elective class that will have you, as filmmakers who use this stuff every day, participate in conceptualizing and designing new ways of storing, organizing and retrieving the massive amounts of digital media that filmmakers and other creative types generate to do their work.

We are looking for 4 students, grad or undergrad, to collaborate with students from other disciplines on this fascinating challenge. This is a great opportunity to have a major impact on real-world media workflow—an issue that is at the very heart of the future of filmmaking.
